Work with U.S. Startups and C-Suite Execs as an Oceans Social Media Marketer About Oceans Oceans is an outsourcing firm pairing the best talent in Sri Lanka with CEOs, Founders, and Executives in the U.S. The Role: Social Media MarketerOceans is seeking talented candidates in Sri Lanka to become Social Media Marketers. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification Plan, create, and publish new content that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages engagement Develop and proactively manage content calendars Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns Assist with running paid media campaigns for brand awareness, lead generation, and optimizing conversion rates Track metrics across all channels to generate actionable insights Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and keep up to date on social media platform changes Requirements Language : Professional fluency in English, with superb communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Experience : 3-5 years of social media marketing experience Experience with e-commerce and direct to consumer is a strong plus Essential Skills : A strong understanding across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn Twitter Strong design aesthetics with the ability to generate copy and graphic work for social media posts and ads; video editing skills is a strong plus Proficient with Google Analytics, Hotjar, Hootsuite etc... Proficient with G-Suite and Google Sheets in particular Experience with Looker Studio is a strong plus Education : Undergraduate degree preferred; relevant experience accepted; other certifications a bonus Who Should Apply This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Social Media Marketing who are excited to work for, and learn from, U.S.-based Executives.
