Issue Date: February 5, 2023 Proposal Due Date: February 16, 2024 Anticipated Award Date: March 10, 2024 Subject: Request for Application FY24-IREX-PI-CCFI1.1.2-01 To Whom It May Concern: The IREX PRO-INFO Program invites proposals from experienced organizations to host a boot camp for the Creative Catalyst Fellowship (CCF) Project. This initiative aims to empower a new wave of social media content creators/influencers, particularly those dedicated to championing social causes. About PRO-INFO PRO-INFO is working toward a robust and vibrant media and information ecosystem that contains multiple and diverse voices, rooted in an enabling environment that firmly protects freedom of expression, with independent media and information actors operating as professional and financially sustainable entities that provide relevant, fair, and fact-based content to informed and engaged citizens. SUMMARY PRO-INFO’s push to identify and support diverse actors in the information and media space will start with the Creative Catalyst Fellowship, a program that will engage independent creatives in Sri Lanka. Recognizing the prevailing focus on lifestyle and profit among influencers, we aim to identify and incentivize a group committed to social activism. The selected influencers will receive training in content creation and skill development, enabling them to effectively promote the causes and work of the Creative Catalyst Fellowship. Key themes include, but are not limited to, climate change and gender issues. The selected organization will play a crucial role in training and mentoring influencers who align with Creative Catalyst Fellowship's objectives. The boot camp will cover Content Creation and Strategy, Editing Tools, and Engagement and Community Building. Additionally, one-on-one mentoring sessions and constructive feedback are essential components to enhance the influencers’ content quality and impact. The anticipated award will be a cost reimbursable/fixed price subcontract. IREX reserves the right to withdrawal this request for proposal at any time up to the award of the contract. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The selected organization will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: Collaborative Planning : Work closely with the IREX PRO-INFO team in strategic planning to ensure the boot camp aligns with program goals. Training Module Development: Create comprehensive training modules focusing on Content Creation, Strategy, Editing Tools, and Community Building. Boot Camp Execution: Conduct the boot camp, providing engaging and informative sessions. Personalized Mentoring: Offer one-on-one mentoring to influencers, guiding content development under the CCF program. Content Review and Feedback : Assess and provide feedback on influencers' content to ensure it aligns with program objectives. SUGGESTED TRAINING MODULES Influencer Marketing and Personal Branding Fundamentals of influencer marketing, ethics, and responsibilities. Developing a strong personal brand aligned with social causes. Storytelling and content strategy for impactful social change. Content Creation and Cadence Navigating various social media platforms for maximum impact. Practical skills in video/photo editing, podcasting, and audio content. Leveraging AI and tech tools for enhancing content quality. Analytics and Community Engagement Utilizing data analytics for audience insights and engagement measurement. Building and managing an online community. Effective engagement strategies for audience interaction. Monetization Strategies for monetization: partnerships, sponsorships, and ethical considerations Navigating legal aspects: copyrights, trademarks, and contract management. Crisis management, public relations skills, and media interactions. Proposal Requirements Organizations interested in providing this service must submit a proposal, including a breakdown of costs, which demonstrates the organizations’ capacity to provide: A comprehensive proposal including details about the company background, past experience collaborating with influencers, proposed training topics for the boot camp, and the portfolio of the trainer(s) involved. A detailed budget A copy of the business registration Proposals must be accompanied by a budget in sufficient detail to determine the price elements, resumes of key staff that will be assigned the project, a detailed description of the method used to perform the tasks outlined, and a list of five similar projects, with contact information for the clients. Proposal Submission Interested organizations are asked to submit their proposals to XXXX@irex.org on or before February 16, 2024 , with the subject line “Voices for Change Influencers”. Proposal Evaluation The criteria are listed in descending order starting with the most important factors to be evaluated. Overall Price Competitiveness (30%) Flexibility & Customer Service (15%) Sufficiency of methodology outlined (20%) Understanding of the program's objectives and the capability to tailor the boot camp content to align with the overarching goals of the Creative Catalyst Fellowship initiative Creativity in approach (10%) Qualifications of key personnel (10%) Credentials and track record in carrying out similar assignments will be assessed. Organizational capacity (10%) Ability to develop effective training modules. Proposed strategies for successful execution of the boot camp Past references (5%) Evaluation and ranking of proposals will be done by IREX in Colombo, Sri Lanka. IREX may at its discretion ask for additional information or perform site visits. Renewal IREX reserves the right, based on availability of funding and vendor performance, to enter into subsequent contractual agreements with the winning vender for a period of up to five years without issuing a new RFP.
